Consultations

All of the specialists are available to consult with parents and providers working with deaf and hard of hearing children. They can be contacted with questions regarding programming for deaf and hard of hearing children at any time.

Families of children enrolled in the public schools and families of infants, toddlers and preschoolers are encouraged to visit several programs, specializing in the education of deaf or hard of hearing children, observe in classes and consult with caring staff about the needs of your child. Children can often participate in class activities and join other students for lunch. Outreach staff can also consult with you and your child's school about your child's needs in public school, preschool, daycare and/or Indiana School for the Deaf.
