CEUs Interpreters holding the
Educational Interpreter Certificate (EIC) will need to have 4.0 (40 hrs) of
CEUs for the past 2 years by ________, 2004. If interpreters fail to get
these CEUs, they will lose their certification. If your interpreters have
not yet completed the required number of CEUs, here is a list of possible

School for the Deaf will be administering the SAT and
ACT this school year on dates listed below. Any deaf or hard of hearing

Voices In previous editions of the
newsletter, we mentioned that the executive director of Hands & Voices,
a parent-driven non-profit organization dedicated to providing unbiased
support to families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, would be
coming to Indiana. On July 18th, LeeAnne Seaver presented her
organization and the parents in attendance voted overwhelmingly, to start a
chapter here in Indiana. Jodee Crace volunteered to lead the group and the
process is underway to begin a chapter of Hands and Voices in the state of Indiana.
